Pam Cordova
State Senate District 30
I'm a retired teacher who taught high school and at-risk students in Valencia County for over 25 years. My roots in our community run deep, as does my family’s commitment to public service. We need to control the rising cost of healthcare and increase the accessibility of healthcare services across the district. I support the New Mexico Health Security Act and the creation of a public insurance option for New Mexicans, and believe we need to develop our capacity to care for our elderly and people with disabilities. We need to provide these same services to Native American people throughout the district and the state, while respecting the sovereign status of tribal governments and the autonomy of Native communities.Quote
Forward Together Action is thrilled to endorse Pam Cordova. As a life-long educator with extensive experience working with our DREAMers, and a community leader, we know Pam will lead on the issues our communities are facing. Pam will work with our rural and Native American communities in her district to increase health care including access to the full spectrum of Reproductive Healthcare for women and families.
I support Pam Cordova for Senate District 30. She has taught our children most of her life, so she knows how important education is. She knows firsthand the unmet needs of New Mexico's education system and will work hard to ensure rural and Native families like mine have access to the resources and services we need to thrive.
